I had mentioned this in a comment for another post here “Designing Product Description Pages That Sell”. In that comment I felt there wasn’t any emphasis on the product description itself. Finding this post about the actual product descriptions, I feel that this too is lacking because it points out the importance of a good, detailed product description but gives no example of a good one, only a bad one.
Please re-visit this article and provide one or two examples of a well written product description.
This kind of information can be invaluable to many designers as we are sometimes required to write copy for a website, catalog or advertisement. Many designers are not well versed in how to write effective marketing copy, which is a skill they need to promote themselves, not just a client’s product or service.

    Hi Aaron,

Again, much of what you say is true. Although, I have to say pretty much the same as for the other comment you have done, my post was only about one of the things to keep in mind when designing product description pages. In my blog, I published only short stories.

Thanks a lot for your great comment!

    Alex
