Let Users Easily Remove Items From Shopping Cart

Some shopping carts do not offer an easy way to remove items. The most easy way of doing it is placing a link or a button labeled “remove”. Sometimes there is no Remove link and the user has to update the quantity value to zero. That’s something many users might not notice.

As you can see in the example, AllPosters.com, the world’s largest poster and print store, placed an Update button and a Remove link below the Quantity input box. This a good usability approach that users will probably understand.
