    Nice examples. I keep wondering how well the Digg search actually tests for users. Design-wise, it’s great (I love the integration), but do people understand that’s a button? Of course, Digg’s audience is hardly low-tech.

    Regarding PayPerPost, that’s actually a very common search menu that’s found across a lot of forums. I recognize it. PayPerPost didn’t make it… they just installed it. That being said, it is bad nevertheless. Show Advanced Options only when asked for, don’t just dump a user “figure it out”.
